Navigating the complex world of Medicare can be challenging.  The North Dakota Insurance Department offers the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) program to assist residents with finding the right coverage and answering questions.  When it comes to Medicare, you are not alone.

Our trained counselors can assist with all Medicare issues, including Original Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medicare Advantage plans, and long-term care insurance.

SHIC is available to North Dakota residents at no cost.  Since our counselors are not affiliated with companies, our assistance is unbiased and puts your interests first. Learn about Medicare for 2023 here.

SHIC receives funding from the Administration for Community Living (ACL). The program helps Medicare beneficiaries navigate through the processes and products of Medicare by providing information in an understandable format so they can make informed decisions regarding their health care coverage.
